  1. muffins had to be cooked for double the recommended time. ended up very dense, and they don’t initially taste like matcha. please just make a regular muffin recipe and add matcha, these are painfully mediocre.
    i’ve never made a muffin recipe that ends up with more of a dough, nor one that needs to chill, but i followed instructions and i’m generally good enough at baking, so i don’t really know how these went so wrong.
