Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
4 tablespoons butter, divided (2 tbsp + 2 tbsp)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and cracked black pepper to taste
shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese for topping
caramelized onions for extra richness
Instructions
1-Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2-In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
3-Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4-Pour in chicken broth and honey, scraping browned bits from the pan.
5-Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
6-Optional: Top with shredded cheese or caramelized onions, cover, and let cheese melt.
7-Garnish with dried parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes, green beans, or toast.
