4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

4 tablespoons butter, divided (2 tbsp + 2 tbsp)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried parsley

Salt and cracked black pepper to taste

shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese for topping

caramelized onions for extra richness

Instructions

1-Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

2-In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3-Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

4-Pour in chicken broth and honey, scraping browned bits from the pan.

5-Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.

6-Optional: Top with shredded cheese or caramelized onions, cover, and let cheese melt.

7-Garnish with dried parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes, green beans, or toast.
