Ingredients
– 4 large eggs
– 8 oz refrigerated crescent-roll dough, unrolled and separated into 8 triangles
– 2 Tbsp milk
– 8 sausage links (approximately ½ lb / 225 g total) cooked and cooled
– ½ cup (approximately 60 g) shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1-First, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get things going. In a skillet, cook the sausage links until they’re fully done and set them aside to cool a bit. This step ensures your sausage breakfast roll ups have that perfect savory flavor.
2-Next, in a small bowl, beat the 4 large eggs with 2 Tbsp milk, then reserve 2 Tbsp of this mixture for later. Scramble the rest in the skillet until it’s just right, then remove from heat. For link to something similar, check out our sausage breakfast casserole for more breakfast ideas.
3-Lay out each crescent-roll triangle on a clean surface.
4-Place one cooked sausage link on the wide end of each triangle.
5-Add about 1 Tbsp of the scrambled eggs on top.
6-Sprinkle a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese over that.
7-Roll each triangle loosely from the wide end and seal the edges by pinching the dough.
8-Arrange them on an ungreased baking sheet.
9-Brush the tops with the reserved egg mixture and bake for 16-18 minutes until golden brown.
