– 3 1/2 cups (approximately 350 g) shredded or chopped rotisserie chicken
– 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (approximately 2 Tbsp)
– 24 oz (approximately 680 g) cream cheese softened
– 1 cup (approximately 240 mL) buffalo sauce or other hot sauce of choice
– 1/2 cup (approximately 120 mL) milk
– 2 cups (approximately 200 g) shredded cheddar cheese divided
– 2 cups (approximately 200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese divided
– ranch dressing (optional)
– blue-cheese crumbles (optional)
– sliced green onions (optional)
Instructions
1-Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C). Lightly spray a 9Ć13-inch (approximately 23Ć33 cm) baking dish to prevent sticking.
2-Mix cheese mixture: In a large stand-mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, buffalo sauce, milk, and 1 1/2 cups each of cheddar and mozzarella cheese until smooth and creamy.
3-Layer base: Spread about 1/4 of the cheese mixture in the prepared dish, then layer the cooked lasagna noodles evenly over it for a solid base.
4-Add chicken layer: Spoon another 1/4 of the cheese mixture over the noodles, then sprinkle half of the chicken on top to add that hearty protein layer.
5-Repeat layering: Repeat the layering sequence: add another layer of noodles, cheese mixture, and the remaining chicken. Finally, top with the rest of the cheeses.
6-Bake: Bake for 45 minutes. Remove any cover and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
7-Rest and serve: Let the lasagna rest for 8-10 minutes before serving to let it set, and add optional garnishes as desired for extra flavor.
