🔥 Experience the bold and tangy flavors of the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese, combining spicy chicken with melty cheeses.
🧀 This sandwich offers a perfect balance of heat and creaminess, ideal for a quick and satisfying meal any day of the week.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 sandwiches

Ingredients

– 8 slices sandwich bread (white sandwich bread or Texas Toast recommended)

– 2 cups cooked chicken breasts (rotisserie chicken preferred, or leftover baked, grilled, pan-fried, lightly seasoned chicken)

– 2 teaspoons minced garlic

– 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)

– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

– 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 1/2 cup hot sauce

– 1/2 cup ranch dressing

– 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

– 4 tablespoons butter

– 4 to 8 slices muenster cheese

– 4 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese (optional)

Instructions

1-First, start by gathering and prepping your ingredients. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crumbled blue cheese, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper, then mix well and set it aside. This creates a creamy base that ties everything together it’s one of my favorite parts because it adds that extra tang!

2-Next, in a separate bowl, mix the shredded cooked chicken with hot sauce, ranch dressing, and minced garlic until it’s evenly coated. This step infuses the chicken with that signature spicy kick, making your Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches irresistible. 3-Now, butter one side of each bread slice. On the unbuttered side of four slices, spread the cheese mixture evenly, then top with the chicken mixture about half a cup per sandwich. On the other four slices, place one or two slices of muenster cheese and close the sandwiches with the buttered side out. This assembly keeps the fillings secure and ensures a perfect melt.

4-Heat a large skillet over low heat and cook the sandwiches for about 5 minutes on each side until the bread is golden and crispy and the cheese is melted. If you’re making multiple, cook in batches to avoid crowding the pan patience here leads to the best results! Once done, remove from heat and serve with extra buffalo sauce, ranch, or blue cheese dressing if you want to amp up the flavor.
