🧄 Indulge in a delicious pull-apart garlic butter bread wreath that’s perfect for sharing at any celebration or casual gathering.
🍞 This visually stunning bread combines rich garlic butter and herbs for a flavorful, irresistible treat everyone will enjoy.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 35 minutes
  • Yield: 1 large bread wreath (serves 8-10)

Ingredients

– 4 3/4 cups flour, plus more if needed

– 2 packets instant yeast

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 cup warm milk

– 2/3 cup warm heavy cream

– 3 tablespoons honey

– 2 tablespoons cultured butter at room temperature

– 1 egg

– 1 stick (8 tablespoons) cultured butter at room temperature for garlic butter

– 2-3 cloves garlic, grated (to taste)

– 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage or oregano

– Flaky sea salt and fresh thyme for topping

Instructions

1- In a bowl, mix the warm milk, heavy cream, and honey, then add the instant yeast. Let it sit for a few minutes until it bubbles up.

2- Add the flour, salt, cultured butter, and egg, stirring until a dough forms. This creates a base that’s easy to work with.

3- Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth. If it’s sticky, add a bit more flour as needed.

4- Let the dough rise in an oiled bowl for about an hour, covered with a cloth.

5- Roll out the dough and shape it into a ring, pinching the ends together.

6- Let it rise again for 30 minutes, then bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes.
