– ⅓ cup chocolate chips for extra gooeyness

Instructions

1-Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

2-Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stove, then stir in the sugar until combined.

3-Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

4-Sift together cocoa powder, flour, and salt, then gradually fold into the wet mixture to avoid lumps.

5-Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips if using.
