– 1 rotisserie chicken (skinned, deboned, and chopped)
– 1 cup sour cream
– 2 tablespoons cornstarch
– 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules or 2 bouillon cubes
– 1 cup water
– 1 cup milk
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1-Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2-Prepare stuffing: Prepare the stuffing mix according to package directions.
3-Cook vegetables: In a large skillet, cook celery, onion, and garlic in butter until tender.
4-Add cornstarch: Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to the skillet.
5-Add milk and bouillon: Add milk and chicken bouillon; bring to a boil while stirring until thickened.
6-Stir in sour cream: Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
7-Assemble casserole: In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the chopped chicken, pour the sauce over it, and top with stuffing.
8-Bake: Bake uncovered for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until golden brown and crispy.
