🍫 This recipe combines comforting spices and chocolate chips for a sweet treat everyone will love.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes

Ingredients

– 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

– 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

– 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda

– 1 teaspoon kosher salt or ½ teaspoon regular salt

– 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)

– 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar

– 1 large egg

– 1 ½ cups pumpkin puree

– 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

– 1 to 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with buttered or sprayed parchment paper.

2-In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt.

3-In another bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer until creamy and pale, then add sugar and beat until fluffy.

4-Mix in the egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract.

5-Slowly add the dry flour mixture and mix until combined, then fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.

6-Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish and bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7-If the top browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil.

8-Let the blondies cool in the dish for 20 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into bars.

9-For dietary adaptations, use the substitutions mentioned earlier to customize your pumpkin blondies.
