Ingredients

– 16 ounces frozen potato pierogies Provides the classic base filling

– 1/2 cup chicken broth Creates the creamy sauce base

– 1/2 cup sour cream

– 4 ounces softened cream cheese

– 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

– 3 sliced green onions

– 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

1-Place the 16 ounces of frozen potato pierogies and 14 ounces of sliced kielbasa sausage into the prepared dish.

2-In a separate bowl, mix together the 4 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of chicken broth, 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper, and half of the 3 sliced green onions.

3-Pour this creamy mixture evenly over the pierogies and sausage in the dish.

4-Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes to ensure everything heats through.

5-Remove the foil, sprinkle the 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles.

6-Finally, garnish with the remaining sliced green onions before serving.
