  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 can biscuit dough or pre-made donut dough

Vegetable oil for frying

1 can peach slices in syrup or fresh peaches, chopped

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon water

8 oz cream cheese, softened (about 226 g)

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup crushed graham crackers or crushed digestive biscuits

1/4 cup glaze (store-bought or homemade from powdered sugar and milk)

Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

1-First Steps: Making the Fillings Start with the peach cobbler filling by combining the peach slices, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and 1 tablespoon water in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the peaches are tender and the sauce thickens, which takes about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature for the best texture.

2-Next, prepare the cheesecake filling by beating 8 oz of softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth. Add 1/4 cup heavy cream and mix until the filling becomes fluffy and creamy. Set this aside while you move on to the donuts themselves.

3-Cooking the Donuts: Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or large pot. Shape the biscuit dough into donuts and fry for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn golden brown. Drain them on paper towels and let them cool slightly before assembling. If you prefer baking, preheat your oven to 350°F and bake on a greased pan for about 15-20 minutes for a lighter option.

4-Once cooled, cut each donut in half horizontally. Spread the cheesecake filling on the bottom half, then layer the peach cobbler filling on top. Finish by sprinkling with 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers, drizzling with 1/4 cup glaze, and dusting with a pinch of cinnamon for that final touch.
