🍑 Savor the sweet and savory fusion of Peach and Prosciutto Flatbread, perfect for a summer appetizer or light meal.
🥖 Easy to prepare and bursting with fresh flavors, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s both elegant and delicious.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 3 flatbreads 1x

Ingredients

Scale

3 pita breads or naan/flatbreads

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil for brushing and grilling flatbreads

2 balls burrata cheese

1 large peach, halved, pitted, and thinly sliced

2 ounces very thinly sliced prosciutto

3 tablespoons balsamic glaze for drizzling

Sea salt flakes to taste

Fresh basil leaves

½ cup halved cherry tomatoes

1/3 cup basil pesto

Instructions

1-First Step: Preheat and Prep Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high, about 350°F. Wash and thinly slice the peach, prepare the prosciutto slices, burrata, and basil. If using pesto or cherry tomatoes, have them ready.

2-Second Step: Grill the Flatbreads Brush each pita or flatbread lightly with extra virgin olive oil on both sides. Place them oiled side down on the grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until grill marks appear and the flatbread is slightly crispy. Flip and grill for another minute. Remove and let cool slightly.

3-Third Step: Grill the Peaches Lightly brush peach slices with olive oil. Grill them on medium heat for 1-2 minutes per side until they have slight char marks and soften gently. Remove from grill.

4-Fourth Step: Assemble the Flatbread Lightly spread basil pesto if using on the grilled flatbread. Arrange the grilled peach slices evenly on top. Break the burrata into spoonfuls and distribute around the peaches. Tear prosciutto into smaller strips to nestle throughout. Add cherry tomatoes if desired.

5-Fifth Step: Final Touches Drizzle balsamic glaze delicately over the flatbread, followed by a little extra olive oil if preferred. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and season lightly with freshly cracked black pepper. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

6-Final Step: Serve and Enjoy Serve the flatbreads warm for the best texture and flavor. Slice into portions to share and delight in the harmonious blend of sweet, salty, creamy, and fresh components.
