Ingredients
6 waffle cones
1 cup white chocolate melting wafers or chips (120 to 200 grams)
1/4 cup red, white, and blue sugar sprinkles
1 cup raspberries (optional)
1 cup blueberries
1 cup small strawberries (hulled and halved)
1 diced banana (optional, can use mini marshmallows as an alternative)
Whipped cream or yogurt for topping (optional)
Instructions
1. Melt the white chocolate wafers in a small heat-safe bowl or using a double boiler to prevent burning.
2. Dip the top inch of each waffle cone into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl.
3. Sprinkle red, white, and blue sugar sprinkles onto the chocolate-coated cone tops, then refrigerate cones for 10 minutes to harden the chocolate.
4. Layer the cones with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and banana or marshmallows, alternating colors to create a patriotic pattern. If desired, add a dollop of whipped cream or yogurt on top.
5. Serve immediately or keep chilled until serving to ensure the best texture.
