23 tablespoons softened butter or garlic butter

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 450℉ (or 425℉/218℃ for a gentler method).
2. Remove husks and silk from the corn.
3. Coat each ear of corn with softened butter.
4. Wrap each ear in foil and place them on a baking sheet.
5. Roast in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. For a slightly browned finish, open the foil after 20 minutes and roast for an additional 15 minutes.
6. Alternatively, soak intact husks in water, add butter and seasoning, and roast directly on the oven grates at 350℉/177℃ for 35 minutes.
