  • Total Time: 40 to 50 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 4½ cups chopped cooked chicken – The star for lean protein and hearty texture

– 4 ounces cream cheese – Adds creamy richness to the mix

– 1 cup cottage cheese – Provides a tangy, smooth element that enhances the flavor

– ½ cup sour cream – Contributes to the overall creaminess and subtle tang

– 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup – Helps bind the ingredients and add moisture

– ¼ teaspoon garlic powder – Offers a subtle, aromatic seasoning

– ¼ teaspoon dried onion powder – Brings in a gentle onion flavor without overpowering

– One sleeve of crushed crackers – For the topping, to add a crunchy contrast

– 5 tablespoons melted butter – Mixed with crackers for a buttery, golden topping

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 350ºF. Gather and prepare your ingredients by chopping the cooked chicken and ensuring the cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.

3-Spread the mixture evenly in a lightly greased 9×9-inch baking dish to ensure even cooking and a bubbly finish.

4-For the topping, mix one sleeve of crushed crackers with 5 tablespoons of melted butter, then sprinkle it over the chicken mixture for a crispy layer.

5-Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes until it’s bubbly and hot. Once done, garnish with dried parsley for a nice touch before serving.
