2-Let the egg whites sit at room temperature to whip up better, then preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

3-Place the egg whites in a spotlessly clean bowl and whip until smooth and glossy.

4-Add the cream of tartar to stabilize the mixture, then gradually mix in the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while beating after each addition.

5-Keep whipping until stiff peaks form, then spread the meringue over your dessert and position it about 4 inches from the heat source.

6-Bake for around 10 minutes until the peaks turn golden brown.
