¾ cup ketchup
1 ½ teaspoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 ½ teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven according to your meatloaf recipe’s instructions.
In a small bowl, combine ketchup, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and ground black pepper. Whisk until the brown sugar is dissolved.
Prepare your meatloaf using ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
Bake the meatloaf according to its recipe. Approximately 15-20 minutes before it finishes baking, remove it from the oven.
Spread the ketchup glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake until the glaze caramelizes and the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
