Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine black pepper, salt, and minced garlic to form a thick paste.
2. Add lemon juice, crushed red pepper, and hot sauce to the paste.

5. Pour the marinade into the bag, seal tightly, and shake well to coat the wings completely.
6. Refrigerate for at least 12 hours, up to 48 hours, turning the bag occasionally to ensure even marinating.
7. Remove the wings from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 25-30 minutes during preheating the grill to medium-high heat.
8. Grill the wings, flipping frequently and brushing with the marinade for 15-20 minutes until cooked through. Avoid brushing with marinade during the last five minutes.
9. Discard any remaining marinade after use.
10. Serve the wings hot, at room temperature, or chilled. They can also be refrigerated for up to 2 days before serving.
