🍗 Crispy Chicken Tenders deliver perfectly crunchy and juicy bites that make for an irresistible meal or snack.
🌿 The flavorful herb and Parmesan breadcrumb crust adds a delightful twist without deep frying, making this recipe healthier and delicious.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

– 1 large egg

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or juice of half a lemon)

– 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

– 2 teaspoons minced garlic

– 3/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper

– 28 ounces chicken tenders

– 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

– 1/2 cup regular garlic, herb, or Italian seasoned breadcrumbs

– 1 teaspoon mild paprika (sweet, smoky, or spicy)

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking tray with cooking oil spray or a light coating of oil to prevent sticking. This step ensures your tenders bake evenly and come out with that golden crunch we all love.

2-Next, in a large bowl, whisk together the egg, olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, minced garlic, salt, and pepper mix it well for a flavorful base that infuses the chicken with zest and savoriness.

3-Then, dip the 28 ounces of chicken tenders into this egg mixture and let them sit for 5 minutes; you can even marinate them in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour for extra juiciness.

4-In another bowl, combine the 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon mild paprika, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese to create that irresistible crunchy coating.

5-Now, dredge the egg-coated tenders in this breadcrumb mix, pressing lightly for even coverage, and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.

6-Lightly spray the tops with oil, then bake for 10 minutes, flip, and bake for another 5-10 minutes until cooked through broil for the last 2-3 minutes if you want that extra crisp!
