– ¾ cup powdered sugar (90 g)

Instructions
1-Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Prepare an 8-inch square pan by lining it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal.
2-In a medium bowl, thoroughly whisk melted butter, sugar, and lemon zest until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
3-Add 1 whole egg and 2 egg yolks; mix well. Set aside the egg whites for other uses.
4-Stir in the fresh lemon juice.
5-In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Sprinkle this evenly over the wet mixture. Stir vigorously at least 50 strokes to develop gluten for the chewy texture.
6-Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
7-Bake for 25 to 27 minutes, until edges are golden brown and start to crackle. A toothpick inserted should come out with some moist crumbs, but no wet batter. Avoid overbaking to maintain fudginess.
8-Let brownies cool at room temperature, then chill in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes to firm up for clean cutting. Cut into 16 squares.
9-For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth and spreadable. Pour evenly over cooled brownies and allow to set for 30 minutes to an hour for best flavor and texture.
