Ingredients

– 6 large or as needed Eggs [Primary protein base]

– Enough to cover by 1 inch Water [Cooking medium]

– 1 tsp Salt [Seasoning and peeling aid]

– 1 tbsp Vinegar [Prevents cracking]

Instructions

1-Place eggs in a single layer in the saucepan.

2-Cover with cold water by about an inch.

3-Add salt and vinegar to the water.

4-Bring to a rolling boil, then cover and remove from heat.

5-Let sit for 9-12 minutes.

6-Transfer to ice water for at least 14 minutes.

7-Peel and season as desired.
