Ingredients
– 1.5 pounds sirloin steak for steak bites
– 3 tablespoons olive oil
– 4 tablespoons butter for steak bites
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder for steak bites
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste for seasoning
– 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
– 12 ounces twisted pasta such as rotini or fusilli for Cajun Alfredo pasta
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder for Cajun Alfredo pasta
– 1 tablespoon butter for Cajun Alfredo pasta
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste for seasoning
– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
– Extra grated Parmesan cheese (optional) for garnish
Instructions
1-First: cook the pasta in generously salted boiling water until al dente, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside. Next, pat the steak cubes dry and season them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika for that perfect flavor base. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak cubes in batches to avoid overcrowding, cooking until they reach medium-rare to medium, about 3-4 minutes total.
2-Remove the cooked steak and keep it warm while you reduce the heat to medium.
3-Melt butter in the same skillet, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant, optionally including red pepper flakes for extra heat.
4-Stir in heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then simmer gently for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
5-Remove from heat and whisk in Parmesan until smooth, creating a creamy texture.
6-Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, toss to coat, and use reserved pasta water if needed to adjust consistency.
7-Gently fold in the steak bites, warming everything for 1-2 minutes without overcooking, then serve immediately with garnish.
