🧄 These sliders are easy to assemble and bake, making them a crowd-pleasing option for any gathering or quick meal.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

– 12-count package sweet dinner rolls

– 1 pound deli roast beef, preferably rare

– 12 slices provolone cheese, divided

– 1 and 1/2 cups optional French fried onions

– 8 tablespoons unsalted butter

– 1 packet au Jus seasoning mix, divided

– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

– 1 tablespoon minced garlic

– 3/4 teaspoon sesame seeds

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

1-First, preheat the oven to 350°F and butter a 9×13-inch baking dish, lining it with parchment paper if you want to prevent sticking.

2-Slice the sweet dinner rolls horizontally in half while keeping them attached, then place the bottom half in the baking dish.

3-Layer with half of the provolone cheese slices, add the deli roast beef, optional French fried onions, the remaining cheese slices, and top with the roll halves.

4-Melt 2 tablespoons butter and mix it with 1 tablespoon of the au Jus seasoning, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 3/4 teaspoon sesame seeds, and 1/2 teaspoon onion powder; spread this over the rolls.

5-Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese melts and the tops turn golden brown.

6-Prepare the au Jus by heating the remaining packet with water as per package instructions, bring to a boil, and simmer until it thickens slightly.

7-Remove from the oven, cut into individual servings, and serve with the au Jus dipping sauce.
