🍪 Enjoy safe, delicious edible cookie dough that you can eat raw without baking.
🍴 This recipe uses heat-treated flour to ensure safety and offers a rich, sweet treat perfect for snacking or dessert.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup brown sugar (packed)

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons milk, plus more if needed

1 cup miniature chocolate chips

Instructions

1-Gather ingredients and heat-treat the flour as described: Spread 2 cups of all-purpose flour evenly on a lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 6-8 minutes until it reaches 160°F. Let it cool completely and sift it to remove any lumps before using.

2-Cream butter and sugars together until fluffy: In a mixing bowl, cream 1 cup of softened unsalted butter with 1 cup packed brown sugar and 1/4 cup granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 1 minute using an electric mixer.

3-Add vanilla, salt, and mix well: Then, add 2 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 1 teaspoon of salt, beating until fully combined.

4-Incorporate flour and milk gradually: Gradually mix in the cooled, sifted flour on low speed until just combined. Add 2 tablespoons of milk, one at a time, and beat until the dough comes together smoothly.

5-Fold in chocolate chips and enjoy: Finally, stir in 1 cup of miniature chocolate chips with a spatula. The dough is ready to serve or store for later, and you can chill it for better texture if needed.

🌾 Ensure cooled heat-treated flour to avoid melting butter.
