πŸ§€ This Simple Cheese Ball Recipe is perfect for quick, delicious party snacks that impress with minimal effort.
πŸ₯³ Ready in just over an hour, it offers a creamy, flavorful appetizer everyone will love at gatherings or celebrations.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Yield: 1 cheese ball (serves about 8-10)

Ingredients

– 16 ounces softened cream cheese

– 2 cups freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese

– 2 green onions, chopped

– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

– 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

– 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

– Dash of freshly ground black pepper

– 2/3 cup finely chopped pecans

Instructions

1-First, beat the 16 ounces of softened cream cheese until it’s smooth and creamy in a large bowl.

2-Next, add 2 cups of freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese, 2 chopped green onions, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, and a dash of freshly ground black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.

3-Lightly grease your hands to shape the mixture into a ball, making sure it’s compact and even.

4-Press the 2/3 cup of finely chopped pecans evenly over the outside of the ball for that crunchy coating.

5-Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 1 hour to firm up. Remove it about 20 minutes before serving to soften slightly, then serve on a platter with crackers, pretzels, vegetables, or mini bagels. Use a spreading knife to keep the structure intact and avoid breaking your dippers.

Notes

πŸ§€ Grate cheese fresh from a block for the best taste and texture.
πŸ₯œ Coat the cheese ball with nuts just before serving if preparing it ahead to maintain freshness.
❄️ Cheese balls can be frozen without the nut coating for up to one month; thaw overnight in the refrigerator before adding nuts and serving.
