🌶️🥛 Whip up smoky, creamy chipotle sauce in minutes for irresistible flavor on tacos, burgers, and more!
🍲 Easy homemade perfection that’s healthier, customizable, and beats any store-bought version.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 cup (8 servings)

Ingredients

– ½ cup Greek yogurt for creamy body and tang

– ¼ cup mayonnaise for richness and thickness

– 1 chipotle pepper from a can of chipotles in adobo sauce for smoky, spicy flavor

– 1 clove garlic, peeled for garlicky bite

– 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice for brightness

– 1 teaspoon olive oil for smoothing texture

– 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup for balancing heat and acidity

– Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper for seasoning

Instructions

1-First Step: Set up your ingredients. If the chipotle pepper is packed in adobo sauce, scoop the pepper out first, then measure your other ingredients. Peel the garlic clove so it blends smoothly.

2-Second Step: Add ½ cup Greek yogurt and ¼ cup mayonnaise to the food processor. This creates the creamy base right away.

3-Third Step: Add the flavor makers: 1 chipotle pepper, 1 clove garlic, 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice, and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Then add 1 teaspoon honey (or maple syrup) to balance the smoke and heat.

4-Fourth Step: Pulse and blend until it starts looking smooth and thick. Stop once or twice to scrape down the sides if needed, so everything fully combines.

5-Final Step: Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, then blend again just briefly. Taste and adjust salt and pepper to your liking. Serve right away, or refrigerate in an airtight container.
