🧄 These Cheesy Garlic Crescent Rolls combine the rich flavor of melted mozzarella with aromatic garlic and herbs for a quick and tasty snack.
🥐 Perfectly golden and flaky, these rolls are easy to make and great to serve at gatherings or as a comforting treat.

  • Total Time: 17 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

– 2 cans (8 oz or 227g each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

– 8 pieces mozzarella string cheese, halved lengthwise (making 16 short sticks)

– 6 tablespoons (85g or 85ml) salted butter, melted

– 4 to 5 cloves garlic, grated or finely minced

– 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

– 1 teaspoon dried parsley

– 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Instructions

1-Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

2-Prepare garlic butter mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, grated or minced garlic, Italian seasoning, dried parsley, and dried basil.

3-Prepare dough triangles: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 16 triangles. Brush each triangle lightly with the garlic butter mixture, saving some for later.

4-Fill and roll dough: Place one halved mozzarella stick at the widest end of each dough triangle. Roll up the triangle, starting from the widest end, and tuck in the edges to seal the cheese inside.

5-Arrange and brush rolls: Arrange the filled rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining garlic butter mixture.

6-Bake rolls: Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the rolls are lightly golden brown.

Notes

🧄 Adjust garlic amount to taste; use a microplane or garlic press for fine mincing.
🧀 Try alternative fillings like mini pepperoni, sausage, sautéed veggies, or bacon for variety.
🌿 Substitute fresh herbs for dried by using double the amount and garnish rolls with fresh parsley after baking.
