Instructions
1-Crush the tortilla chips finely and set them aside.
2-Cut each cheese stick in half.
3-Prepare a breading station with three separate bowls: one for flour, one for the whisked eggs, and one for the crushed tortilla chips.
4-Coat each cheese stick by first dipping it in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally rolling it in the crushed tortilla chips. Repeat the entire coating process once more for a double coating.
5-Place the coated cheese sticks on a tray and freeze them for at least 1 hour.
6-Heat frying oil to a medium-high temperature. Gently fry the frozen cheese sticks for 1 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Avoid high heat to prevent burning.
7-Drain the fried sticks on paper towels and serve immediately with marinara, salsa, or another preferred dipping sauce.
