🥨 Enjoy bite-sized smoky and cheesy treats that double as a fantastic snack or party appetizer.
🍺 Combining smoked brisket and beer cheese makes each pretzel bomb irresistibly flavorful and indulgent.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

– 1 pound shredded smoked brisket for filling

– 1 cup beer cheese dip for creamy, rich cheese flavor

– 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough for wrapping

– 1/4 cup baking soda for boiling step pretzel texture

– 1 beaten egg for browning and shiny finish

– 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt for topping

– 1/4 cup melted butter for brushing after baking

Instructions

1-First, mix the shredded smoked brisket with the beer cheese dip in a bowl until evenly combined.

2-Next, roll out the refrigerated biscuit dough into flat circles about 4 inches across on a floured surface.

3-Then, place a spoonful of the brisket-cheese mixture in the center of each dough circle and fold the edges over, pinching them securely to form sealed balls.

4-After that, boil each sealed dough ball in a pot of water with 1/4 cup of baking soda for 1 to 2 minutes, using a slotted spoon to handle them carefully.

5-Transfer the boiled balls to a baking sheet lined with parchment. Brush each one with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sea salt for that perfect finish.

6-Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15 to 20 minutes until they’re puffed and dark brown. Right after baking, brush each pretzel bomb with 1/4 cup of melted butter to add shine and flavor. This method ensures a chewy texture that pairs great with other dishes, like our spiced chicken sandwich for a full meal.
