  • Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes
  • Yield: 8-10 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 pounds sausage

12 eggs

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 green onions

1/2 green bell pepper

1/2 red bell pepper

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1-First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9×13 inch pan with cooking spray to avoid any sticking issues.

2-In a large bowl, gently combine the eggs, sour cream, milk, cheese, salt, and pepper until everything is well mixed.

3-Next, cook the sausage over medium heat in a skillet, breaking it into small pieces, and then drain the excess grease to keep the dish from becoming too oily.

4-After that, add the cooked sausage to the egg mixture for a boost of flavor.

5-Sauté the diced bell peppers and green onions in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes until they’re slightly softened, then stir them into the egg and sausage mixture.

6-Pour the combined mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 50 minutes until the edges are set and the center is still a bit jiggly it will firm up as it cools.
