🍋 This Brazilian Lemonade Recipe blends fresh limes with creamy sweetened condensed milk for a refreshing, citrusy drink.
🥤 Easy to prepare and perfectly balanced, it’s ideal for cooling off on warm days with a sweet twist.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 4 juicy limes, washed and scrubbed clean

– 6 cups water

– 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)

– 6 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk

– 6 tablespoons Sweetened Condensed Milk

– 1 cup (200g) Granulated Sugar

Instructions

1-Wash the limes thoroughly, scrubbing the skin to remove any pesticides or wax. Slice off the ends of each lime, then cut into eighths.

2-In a blender, combine half of the water (3 cups), half of the sugar (0.5 cup or 100g), and half of the limes (2 limes), then pulse 5 to 7 times without fully pulverizing to avoid bitterness.

3-Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing with a spoon to extract the juice, and discard the pulp and skins.

4-Repeat the blending and straining process with the remaining water (3 cups), sugar (0.5 cup or 100g), and limes (2 limes).

5-Stir in the 6 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk.

6-Serve over plenty of ice, garnished with thin slices of lime. Adjust sweetness by adding more condensed milk or sugar as needed.

Notes

🍈 Use limes with thin, smooth skin for juicier, less bitter results.
🍹 Avoid over-blending to prevent bitterness from the pith.
❄️ The drink is best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated up to 4-5 days; freeze for popsicles or use as cocktail base.
