🔥🍗 Juicy air-fried chicken skewers coated in addictive creamy-spicy bang bang sauce for bold, finger-licking flavor.
🥢 Quick 10-minute prep, versatile cooking methods, ideal for parties, BBQs, or easy dinners everyone craves.

  • Total Time: 52 minutes
  • Yield: 8-10 skewers

Ingredients

– 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes (main protein for tender, even cooking)

– 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (helps the seasoning stick and adds gentle moisture)

– 1 teaspoon paprika (adds color and a mild smoky-sweet flavor)

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder (brings savory garlic taste without fuss)

– 1 teaspoon kosher salt (seasons deeply for better overall flavor)

– ½ teaspoon black pepper (adds balanced heat and freshness)

– 1 ¼ cups mayonnaise (the creamy base for the bang bang sauce)

– ⅔ cup Thai sweet chili sauce (sweet, tangy flavor and gentle chili character)

– 2 teaspoons Sriracha, or more to taste (controls the spicy level of your spicy chicken skewers)

– 2 tablespoons honey (rounds out the sweetness and helps the sauce taste “restaurant style.”)

Instructions

1-First Step: Soak your wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. This helps prevent burning while they’re in the air fryer.

2-Second Step: In a large bowl, combine the cubed chicken breasts, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Toss until every piece is coated evenly.

3-Third Step: Thread 4 to 5 chicken cubes onto each soaked wooden skewer. Try to keep the pieces similar in size so the cooking time stays consistent.

4-Fourth Step: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey to create the bang bang sauce. This yields about 1 ¾ cups.

5-Final Step: Air fry at 400°F for 11 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Chicken is done at 165°F. Remove and brush or drizzle with the reserved bang bang sauce, then serve immediately.
